Laura Cortese is a singer/songwriter and fiddler from San Francisco. After attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Cortese would go on to release her debut album, Hush, in 2004. Having since gone on to release additional LPs, Cortese has also collaborated with a number of well-known musicians and bands including Pete Seeger, Band of Horses and Uncle Earl.
