Benni Hemm Hemm

The Icelandic band Benni Hemm Hemm is a group that exists outside of the norm. It creates music that is difficult to categorize and the band lays claim to no particular "scene." However, by soldering on and making music that ranges from mariachi, afrobeat, folk, et al., since 2005, Benni Hemm Hemm has grown into an interesting and rather large collective that's worthy of listening to and seeing in a live setting.
