Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse is a rock band from Los Angeles that is probably best-known for its association with Neil Young. Originally formed in 1963 as an a Capella doo-wop group called Danny & The Memories, the group would eventually pioneer a unique psycedelic folk sound that caught the ear of Young, who used the group as a backing band of sorts, beginning with his well-received 1969 album, Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere. Though the group's partnership with Young continues to this day, the band can also be found in the recording studio and on stage sans Young, performing with the strength and vigor that it has always maintained.
