Alan Gilbert

Alan Gilbert is a classical music figurehead who is best-known as a conductor and violinist. He has conducted some of the finest ensembles in the world including the Santa Fe Opera and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Though he dedicates much of his time serving as Music Director for the New York Philharmonic, Gilbert also travels as a solo artist or with various groups to play showcases around the world.
