Ego Ella May is a self-instructed R&B, soul and jazz musician hailing from South London. She stepped into the limelight with the EP The Tree which was released in early 2013 to universal acclaim. Her second venture, the EP Breathing Underwater was issued in 2014. After releasing a series of singles such as "Table for One," "Girls Don't Always Sing About Boys" and "Legend," she dropped her first full-length album - So Far. Her sophomore album Honey For Wounds hit the shelves the following year, featuring tracks that were described by the artist to have "helped her heal." May's other popular tracks are "I Hope We Never Break Up," "24-7," "How Long 'Til We're Home" and "Tonight I'm Drowning."
