Grammy Award-winning vocalist Lisa Fischer is an R&B artist with distinctive, soul-drenched vocals. She earned immediate mainstream attention with her debut album, 1991's So Intense, which featured several hit singles, including her most renowned song "How Can I Ease the Pain." The track earned Fischer the 1992 Grammy for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and quickly became the pinnacle of her career. In addition to her own material, Fischer is a touring staple of The Rolling Stones, having traveled with them on ever single tour since 1989, and while she hasn't released any follow-up LPs, she is known to share lead vocals with Mick Jagger on several of the Stones's songs, including "Gimme Shelter," one of the legendary band's most notable hits.
