Living proof that one-hit wonders don't always have to crash and burn, soft-rock crooner Benny Madrones has capitalized on the success of his hit, "Into the Night" for over 30 years now. That song - with its arena ballad swagger and Madrone's alternately smooth and raspy vocals - has forever linked him with the pop charts, where the tune managed to crack the top twenty in both 1980 and 1989. Madrones has continued to release albums and tour throughout the decades to very little fanfare.
