Vincent Courtois

Vincent Courtois is an experimental cello player and composer from France. He started his professional recording career in 1993 with the release of News cello but has been active in the experimental classical/jazz scene since 1990--after graduating from the conservatory of Aubervilliers. Although his avant-garde jazz can be difficult for many listeners to grasp, Courtois has also crafted less experimental songs like "I Carry Your Heart" in which he bows and plucks the cello alongside a sweet female voice.
