Sun Airway

Sun Airway comes from the ashes of the now defunct Philadelphia pop-rock group, A-Sides. In contrast to their contributions in that band, Jon Barthmus and Patrick Marceill decided to work together on a more electronically influenced project and began working on their 2010 debut, Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier. Sun Airway's material lays pulsing, swirling electronic textures beneath modern indie rock songwriting influenced by groups like Interpol, the National and the Strokes, resulting in shimmery pop songs with a strong sense of sonic depth.
