Pomegranates

Cincinnati, Ohio four piece Pomegranates was formed in 2008 and have since proven to be impressively prolific - releasing 3 albums in 2 years. Infusing psych rock with dream pop, the group is both experimental and palatable, though it prefers to be called "art pop." Pomegranate's live shows consist of each member switching instruments in between songs, marking each musician as a fairly talented multi-instrumentalist and allowing the music to shift to directions that would be unlikely if not impossible otherwise.
