Beans

Beans is a rapper from New York, most notable for founding the experimental hip-hop group Antipop Consortium. He released his first solo record in 2000 and became notable for his ability to clearly recite his purposefully cerebral rhymes at record speeds all in a single pitch. What makes Beans truly unique, though, is that he cites Sonic Youth along with Public Enemy as his biggest inspirations, not something typically heard from a hip-hop artist, but very representative of Beans' alternative rapping style.
