Intimate Stranger is an indie rock band from Santiago, Chile formed by English/Croatian bassist Tessie Spoljaric and Chilean guitarist Lautaro Vero in 2005. Intimate Stranger strives for has a darker, alternative rock vibe with a pop sensibility--deriving influence from indie rock bands of the late-80s. The band's debut album, Life Jacket, was released to critical acclaim in Chile, earning Intimate Stranger an interview with the country's leading music magazine for a feature titled, "Leading Ladies of Rock 2009."
