Protistas is an alternative rock band from Mexico City, Mexico. Formed in 2014, the band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist, Juan Carlos, bassist, Carlos, drummer, Luis, and keyboardist, Miguel. The band has released two studio albums, “Aquí Estamos” (2015) and “Cambio de Tiempo” (2018). Both albums have been critically acclaimed and have earned the band a loyal fan base. Their music is characterized by its melodic and energetic sound, combining elements of rock, pop, and Latin music. Protistas has toured extensively throughout Mexico and Latin America, performing at some of the biggest festivals in the region.
