Papas Fritas

Formed in 1992, by two friends who wanted to make catchy pop music, the Massachusetts-based band Papas Fritas has managed to create easy to like songs over its years of existence. Often performing as a trio, the band will occasionally bring in two auxiliary musicians to fill out the group's sound in a live setting. With a sound that's driven by jangly guitars and vocal harmonies, Papas Fritas has proven to be a band that's a valuable source for interesting indie pop listening material, and because the group has stopped performing on a regular basis, an opportunity to see the band live is not to be missed.
