Neal McCoy

Jacksonville, Texas country singer Neal McCoy is one of the few people of color in the pop country music world. Born of Filipino and Irish descent, McCoy has brought a unique perspective to the world of country music. Still maintaining many of the country's favorite themes: blue collar work, drinking and love lost, McCoy grew up being inspired by a musical palette that ranged from disco to soul. McCoy has had considerable commercial success over his long career, and continues to play to large, loyal audiences in and around the U.S.
