The Chi-Lites, an R&B quartet based out of Chicago, found success in the 1970s despite having been on the music scene since 1959. The quartet went through multiple changes in its name - from Chanteurs to The Hi-lites - before settling on the name Chi-Lites as a tribute to the members' hometown. The group has multiple Top 10 R&B Hits to its name, including the immensely popular "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl." Its fame has traveled across borders and oceans to Australia, the UK, Ireland and Canada. The quartet went on a brief hiatus in the late 70s. Its album Bottoms Up - released in 1983 - ensured that the group came back with a bang. It has been inducted into the Rhythm Blues Foundation, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the R&B Music Hall of Fame.
