Alicia Keys has been one of the more interesting musicians to follow ever since she exploded on the scene in 2001 with her debut LP, Songs in A Minor. Since her first album, Keys has been busy significantly growing as a singer and piano player and although her music is typically categorized as soulful contemporary soft rock, Keys is an unabashed performer and her genre leaping ability is fairly impressive. Over her career she has also held a number of notable collaborations with prominent musicians like Jack White, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Annie Lennox and Bono.
