Zomes

Zomes is an experimental noise-pop duo from Baltimore, Maryland that's comprised of multi-instrumentalist Asa Osborne and vocalist Hanna. Meeting circumstantially at the Perspectives Festival in Sweden, when Osborne was performing solo and invited Hanna on stage to improvise vocals, the duo connected immediately and decided to work on material together. Filling its songs with arpeggiated loops, abstract rhythms and non sequitur instrumental arrangements, Zomes released its debut album in 2008 and the LP helped establish the duo as one of the more interesting avantpop groups of its generation.
