Zazie

Zazie is the stage name for Isabelle Marie Anne de Truchis de Varennes, a pop singer/songwriter from Boulogne-Billancourt, France who has been actively performing throughout the French-speaking world since the release of her acclaimed debut album Je, tu, ils in 1992. Although her debut was only a middling commercial success, Zazie's follow-up in 1995, Zen, proved to be a massive commercial success, sparking several singles over the course of that year. Zazie would continue her climb up the pop charts with acclaimed album releases throughout the following decade, and she is still considered to be one of France's more formidable pop chanteuses.
