Eastborough

Eastborough is the alias of Canadian indie pop singer/songwriter Stefani Guzman, who first began writing and performing in 2006 around her hometown of Ottawa. Her upbeat guitar playing and high-pitched squeal of a voice immediately set her apart from the mellow coffee shop folk that dominated much of the singer/songwriter turf at the time. Partnering with producer Adam King, Guzman recorded and released Your Place, an album's worth of breezy and playfully arranged indie pop in 2009. A year later, she packed up and took her talents to Toronto, where she's enjoyed increased exposure thanks to sharing bills with the likes of DD/MM/YY and The Gossip.
