The Clazziquai Project (more popularly known as simply Clazziquai) is an experimental pop group from Seoul that began as an independent band in 2001, and through ingenious marketing, was able to rise to become one of the country's most internationally popular acts. One of the first Korean bands to use the power of the internet to get the word out about it's debut album Instant Pig, many were attracted to the bands sound as being a style of pop music never heard before on the South Korean airwaves. Since it breakout premier in 2001, Clazziquai has since released several critically acclaimed albums that highlight a unique blend of Korean and Japanese pop, with a heavy electronica influence that often enhances the music's originality.
