Urban Zakapa (어반 자카파), which stands for Urban + Zappy + Kaleidoscopic + Passionate, is an indie pop/jazz group from Seoul that consists of nine performers: four vocalists and five instrumentalists. The band has become widely known for the talent of its large cast of musicians, but also for the diversity in songwriting it brings to South Korea's now thriving independent music scene. With a sound that's described as a distinctive fusion of R&B and jazz that is sure to please listeners of both mainstream and not-so-mainstream Korean popular music.
