Colin Newman is an English singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who might best be known as the lead vocalist of the pioneering post-punk band Wire. Newman released his debut solo album, A-Z, in 1980 and since then he has kept active by releasing additional LPs and maintaining a sporadic touring schedule.
