Tomas Luis de Victoria

Regarded as one of the most famous Spanish composers of the 16th century, Tomas Luis de Victoria was a musician who liked so spend his time out of the public's gaze. Though he was an accomplished composer of the Counter-Reformation style, he did not like to perform in front of an audience - instead, opting to have a stand in conductor fill in for him whenever his music was played to a concert hall.
