Peals

Peals is an indie rock band from Brooklyn that was founded by Future Islands' William Cashion and Double Dagger's Bruce Willen in 2012. Moving away from the post punk style of their respective projects, the two artists collaborated in search of a warm, stripped-down sound, armed with guitars, keyboards, toy pianos and tambourines. They emerged with Peals' 2013 debut album Waking Field, a record that offers a gentle but emotional sound full of textures that were crafted without the help of bass guitars or drums.
