Idris Elba

Idris Elba is a British actor and rapper who has found solid footing in various facets of entertainment. Perhaps best-known as drug lord Russell "Stringer" Bell on HBO's The Wire, he is also renowned for his starring role as Nelson Mandela in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, as well as his appearance in the Thor film series. In addition to acting, Elba has managed to maintain a career as a rapper and DJ under the name Driis. From his 2009 debut EP Kings Among Kings to the acclaimed 2010 effort, High Cklass Problems Vol. 1, he's released a steady stream of records packed with his signature deep house-infused hip-hop.
