Few electronic artists have achieved as much widespread mainstream popularity as Tiesto. The Dutch musician first started making electronic music with a turntable, but as time wore on with technology evolving and continuing to push the boundaries of what is typically thought of as a music creating device or instrument, Tiesto started to incorporate more computerized elements into his sound. While he's primarily known to create trance music with a defined house beat, Tiesto also creates calming ethereal electronica-inspired sonic landscapes.
