Following in the footsteps of nervy art-rockers like Spoon and The Dismemberment Plan, Canadian indie rock band The Golden Dogs makes accessible, catchy indie-pop. Based around the singing/songwriting team of Dave Azzolini and Jessica Grassia, the band's infectious boy-girl harmonies and energetic live show have grown a substantial following and have earned the group spots sharing the stage with influential acts like Canadian indie pioneers Sloan and noise rock godhead Thurston Moore.
