Born and raised in Orange County, California, J Rabbit gave up the sunshine-filled suburbs to move to the grittier suburb of New York City, the Bronx. His new location provided a more applicable backdrop for the producer and DJ to work on his dubstep tracks. Splicing the wonkiness of dubstep with the bassline of drum 'n bass, and occasionally stepping into the clownstep territory, J Rabbit has put his spin on various classics, including Beni Benassi's "Satisfaction," which has won him popularity in various New York clubs.
