Fiddler's Green

Fiddler's Green is a band from Erlangen, Germany that injects a punk-inspired instrumental ferocity into traditional Celtic folk music. This has been affectionately referred to by fans as speed-folk. Founded in 1990, the group managed to build a solid reputation for itself with engaging live shows before entering the studio to record its self-titled debut LP in 1992. Having since gone on to tour Europe several times over (in addition to releasing a steady supply of studio material), Fiddler's Green has grown into one of the premier neo-folk acts of its generation.
