Aly & Fila

Aly & Fila is a electronic production and DJ duo from Cairo, Egypt that has risen to fame by making a style of music that blends quintessential Middle Eastern sounds with various modern electronic genres. Comprised of Aly Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib, two individuals who've known each other since kindergarten, the duo first started DJing together in 1999 after falling for the music of electronic mainstays like Paul Van Dyk and Stave Helstrip. Though they received solid recognition for their novice efforts, they didn't properly break through until they started incorporating the historical sounds of their homeland into their trance and house fueled songs.
