Mark Chesnutt

Mark Chesnutt is a singer/songwriter from Beaumont, Texas who is widely known for his neotraditionalist country style. Learning a love of music from his father, a songwriter and avid record collector, Chesnutt would go on to drop out of high school in order to tour and play with his father around the Southeast Texas region. Chesnutt recorded and released his debut album, Doing My Country Thing, in 1988 and since then he has maintained a respectable recording schedule, in addition to up-keeping a dutiful touring regime.
