Angelua Apatrida began in Albacete, Spain in early 2000. Their name mixes the Latin and Spanish languages and roughly translates to renegade angels. Angelus Apatrida has been influenced by the Bay Area thrash metal scene and bands like Iron Maiden and Pantera. They had to work very hard with little help to get their name well known because the area where they came from was very isolated. They have formed a loyal following by playing at several metal festivals throughout the years and clubs all around Europe. They have independently released two albums, one in 2006 and another in 2007 titled Evil Unleashed and Give Em' War. In 2010 they released their third album under the Century Media Label titled Clockwork. Angelus Apatrida is able to incorporate modern southern fury with the classic edge of 80's trash metal.
