Originally formed in the 1980s, Quest is a jazz quartet composed of saxophonist and flutist David Liebman, pianist Richie Beirach, bassist Ron McClure and drummer Billy Hart. Veterans in the jazz world, the four musicians have lived through the last forty years of jazz and are keeping that history alive through rearranged standard tunes, modern blues ballads and classic chamber music. After a fifteen year hiatus, Quest reformed in 2005 to deliver its contemporary and classical jazz fusion to a new generation.
