Isobel Campell is an influential Scottish singer and instrumentalist who was a founding member of the seminal indie pop band Belle & Sebastian. Mark Lanegan is a raspy-voiced singer who is known for fronting the Seattle grunge outfit The Screaming Trees and the stoner rock act Queens of the Stone Age. Together the two create a unique "beauty and the beast" style pair, with Campbell's dainty voice and Lanegan's rugged croon. The duo released their first LP in 2006 and the two singer's ying-yang sound managed to grab the attention of several music critics, who lauded the duo's album as one of the best of the year. The pair has released a few subsequent recordings and the duo's live show provides a rare opportunity to witness two world class musicians perform on the same stage together.
