Linfinity

Allegedly based on a story told by a war vet, who informed front man Dylan Von Wagner that "linfinity" was one of the words soldiers would yell in an attack to keep themselves from becoming shell shocked, the New York group is a five-piece formed in 2006. With the focus of its music primarily on Von Wagner's voice, the remaining band members allow their instruments to ebb and flow around his belting. Though the band's songs incorporate different world influences, like afropop and big beat, the music Linfinity creates is essentially vocal-heavy rock palatable both for indie kids and more mainstream rockers.
