Omar Perry is a reggae producer and singer from Kingston, Jamaica who resides in Belgium. He's the son of legendary Studio-One producer/engineer Lee "Scratch" Perry and was around while Bob Marley and Max Romeo were recording. Later on, Omar Perry became a producer himself and got to work with the likes of Big Youth and Jah Mason. He formed his first group The Upsetter Juniors with his brothers and sisters while still in high school, but decided to focus on being purely behind the scenes until 2009 with the release of his solo debut Man Free, followed by 2009's Can't Stop Us that features the fist pumping lyric "You can't stop us now" on the anthem track "Boom Town".
