Martha Wainwright

Canadian-born, New York City-based singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright is, as can be assumed, a member of the notably musical Wainwright family. Apart from Wainwright's solo material, she also participates in frequent collaborative projects with her brother Rufus, wherein the two host an annual Christmas event at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Wainwright is also often involved in musical charity events, from AIDS to Ugandan relief efforts. Wainwright's third full-length record is a tribute to legendary Parisian singer Edith Piaf.
