The Motels

The Motels is a new wave band from Berkeley, California that achieved mainstream success with its 1980s hit singles "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer." Helmed by chief singer/songwriter Martha Davis, the group has gone through a number of break ups and line up changes over its decades long existence, but since 1998 it has solidified well enough to maintain and active touring schedule and even release a few albums.
