Hubert Kah is a German synthpop band led by singer-songwriter Hubert Kemmler. Hubert Kah was formed in 1982 and along with many other German bands, was part of the Neue Deutsche Welle (engl.: New German Wave) movement of the 1980s. Some of its initial releases including singles "Sternenhimmel" and "Rosemarie," and the albums Meine Höhepunkte and Ich komme brought it commercial success early on. From the mid-1980s on, the band began singing in English and released the albums Tensongs (1986) and Songs of My Heart (1998), which saw moderate international success. Due to several personal setbacks, the band went on a hiatus from 1990-1996 and 1998-2005, making a big comeback in 2005 with the album Seelentaucher, sung partly in German and English.
