Bleeding Through is a metalcore outfit that emerged out of Orange County, California in 1999 with a style that blends a wide range of hardcore influences from melodic death metal to symphonic black metal. After releasing two LPs, its 2001 debut Dust to Ashes and 2002's Portrait of the Goddess, the band rose to recognition in the US with its Trustkill Records debut, This Is Love, This is Murderous, in 2003. The record spawned several widespread tours as well as a series of festival appearances, including a set at the 2004 Ozzfest. With lead vocalist Brandan Schieppati as its only remaining founder, Bleeding Through announced a final farewell tour in 2014, leaving a legacy of seven LPs, including its sole release on Rise Records, 2012's The Great Fire.
