Unearth

Unearth is a metalcore band from Wakefield, MA that was formed in 1998 with the original lineup of Trevor Phipps, Buz McGrath, Ken Susi, Mike Rudberg and Chris Rybicki. After releasing its debut EP Above the Fall of Man in 1999, the band signed with Eulogy Recordings and dropped its 2001 debut album The String of Conscience. The band spent the next few years playing some of the country's largest festivals such as Ozzfest and South By Southwest in Austin despite having to replace its drummer on three separate occasions. Held together by three of its founding members, Unearth released its fifth studio album Darkness in the Light, in 2011.
