Formed in 1980, The Chills is a rock band the crafts what is known as the Dunedin sound, a brand of indie rock that emerged from the area from which its named. Hailing from Dunedin, New Zealand, the group uses both guitar and keyboard-driven songwriting to craft infectious yet gritty rock music.
