Grant Hart

As the drummer and co-songwriter for seminal 80s underground rock band, Husker Du, Grant Hart's musical career was well-established early on. With that band, Hart helped form the blueprints for what hardcore punk and alternative rock would mold into, and influenced countless bands in the process. Despite battles with alcohol and heroin, Hart has emerged on top and is currently enjoying a career as a solo artist. This form has allowed him opportunities to expand his sonic palette, as evidenced by the 2009 album Hot Wax, which dabbles in baroque-pop, keyboard balladry and power-pop.
