Obscura

Formed in 2002, Obscura is a German technical death metal band that spent the few years after its formation in relative obscurity. By 2006, however, the band had managed to be picked as the opener for Suffocation on its European tour, an opportunity that surprised the metal scene but also earned the four-piece an impressive amount of fans. Since then the band has changed its lineup and added in a few sub genres of metal into its overall style, but has only continued to win over crowds.
