Based in New Hope, Pennsylvania Moistboyz is hard rock outfit that has been crafting its own punk and metal-infused sound since the early 1990s. After releasing its eponymous debut EP in 1994, the group recorded it full length-effort Moistboyz II, and released it with the Beastie Boys' label, Grand Royal in 1996. With founders Guy Heller and Mickey Melchiondo, who respectively operate under the aliases Dickie and Micky Moist, at the helm, Moistboyz continues to push its heavy rock and roll sonic aesthetic into new audiences with releases such as 2013's Moist Boyz V.
