The group is known to have revolutionized hip hop with its unique sound that is best described as trap metal. Its debut mixtape Hell Or High Water in 2018 was a hit amongst fans and critics, earning them praise for their harsh vocals distinctive presentation. City Morgue built upon the success of its first mixtape with the release of an EP - Be Patient in 2018 and a studio album a year later titled As Good as Dead.
