In 1988, Swedish musicians Jocke Skog and Zak Tell met while they were both were working at a Stockholm hospital. Eventually, the two began playing music together - the results of which yielded the rap-metal project dubbed Clawfinger. With angry, tough-guy rapping stacked atop slick thrash metal guitar riffs, Clawfinger certainly isn't short on testosterone-fueled, pissed-off material. The band attempts to separate itself from the rest of the nu-metal pack with an occasional focus on political or anti-racist lyrics.
